IIT Tirupati to be expanded

The Union Cabinet has approved Rs 11,828.79 crore expansion plan for academic and infrastructure capacities at the new IIT campuses located in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, and Kerala.

This initiative will result in increased student and faculty intake, promote innovation and research, and strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
